Do You Need an Agent
Probably not. This visa is easy to obtain. However:

You can apply for permanent residence while you are in Australia – we can assist in filing your application. |

You may be able to apply for permanent residence now, but may lose this right if you are travelling extensively. |

You can, if you wish to apply for permanent residence and while you are waiting for the visa grant, travel to Australia on a working holiday or work and holiday visa. |
How Can You Do That

The purpose of your visit must be “…to enter Australia as a genuine visitor whose principal purpose is to spend holiday in Australia” |

You must have reasonable prospect of obtaining employment in Australia |

A word of warning: If the aim of your trip is to see if you want to migrate to Australia, be careful that your trip does not reduce your chances of applying as a migrant (see Skilled Migrant Categories). |
The Skilled Categories require applicants to have had “recent work experience” (12 out of the 24 months and skilled employment in the four years prior to the date of application under the skilled categories. |
Once you leave your job, the clock starts ticking against you. Also, if you are approaching 30 years of age, remember that you will lose 5 points for age when you turn 30. |
